News

(2.04.01-3.5.01) -- This article is for the die-hard
political junkie who loves maps. Just to let you know, it's a little
technically written. I suggest you pull out a map or a globe to
get the real juice of what's up for the year. The international
news is as it relates to Washington, D.C. and to our nation. The
data given below will somehow relate back to US.
Areas in the world bound to produce newsworthy events this year:
15-16E, e.g., the Congo struggles with relation tension. 33E, e.g.,
Israel, Kenya, Turkey -- continued political and economic upheavals.
13N/43E e.g. Djibouti -- seeks more information; 3N/34E e.g. Kampala,
Uganda -- e.g. -- a similar situation to the USS COLE?; 42E: e.g.,
Yemen -- arrogant or overly confident; 52N/6W -- Dublin, Ireland
-- increased sensitivity. 56E-57E Abu Dhabi, Iran -- intense power
issues; 65E-69E e.g. Kabul, Afghanistan -- Osama bin Laden shines
for awhile. Pakistan, India -- dangerous conflictual indecision
102-107E, e.g., Jakarta -- stressful relations.
Also, US relations with Columbia, Cuba, Mexico are not all that
easy and need work. Mexico is due for some troubling times this
year, just wait. (For all locations given, allow 700 miles all the
way around.)
Key time frames for Spring are approaching the Full Moon March
9, March 20, April 23, May 2-7. Watch from May 22-June 5 -- US becomes
vulnerable and financial situations are difficult.
Feelings over the Summer are tense. A political/economic crisis
develops between June 21-July 5. 72E is bound to be in the news,
e.g., Pakistan, Afghanistan. Cold War environment begins to look
more realistic around July 20-21. The confident bin Laden has some
up and coming hardships if he stays in Afghanistan. Perhaps the
beginning of some restrictions imposed on Afghanistan closing in
on August 4-5, August 18-19? Let's wait and see.
