The Dance Continues

Mid-East Conflict
Mid-East Conflict

(February 3, 2001) This year we continue a tango with two difficult astronomical configurations. The first is a continuation of Saturn square Uranus from 1999. We are likely to continue witnessing difficult structural changes between the economy and politics through 2001.

Look at the changes that have taken place in terms of changing economic and political trends. In the U.S, a switch from a Democratic/liberal president to a Republican/conservative president, and a historical bull run market to a developing crisis; 2) In Yugoslavia, the seeds of democracy are planted -- Milosevic is out; 3) Palestinians renew a historical struggle to gain territory from Israel; 4) Globalization and the igniting difficulties around the world.

The second on-going difficult astronomical configuration to deal with this year, is the continuation of power struggles (or Jupiter opposing Pluto). This configuration has popped up during our infamous elections, the fall of Milosevic, and the Israeli/Palestinian crisis -- the bombing of the USS Cole occurred when Jupiter opposed Pluto exactly, and it will be exact again May 6, 2001.

If you're finding power struggles in your personal life, look for positive outlets, e.g., work out, communicate, or just plain get a punching bag!

It's really, not -- over -- yet!
