Carrie was raised in Central and South
America. She has been practicing astrology since 1981. In 1996, she
was certified to consult as an astrologer from the National Council
for Geocosmic Research. In 2000, she obtained a master's in Counseling
Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chestnut
Hill College in Pennsylvania. She trained and worked for Child Guidance
in Philadelphia (Minuchin, Structural Family Therapy). She is currently a member of the National Council for Geocosmic
Research (NCGR)
and The American Federation of Astrologers (AFA).
She has a strong belief in showing people
their strengths, challenges and working with them to develop mental survival
skills that can enrich their lives. She has a home office
and phone clientele across the country.
She has twice been the featured speaker on radio talk show, Body, Mind and Balance with Valerie Shinbaum. She has lectured on political, financial trend as well as the value of using
astrology as a therapeutic intervention at: The
Noetic Friends Society; Mind, Body Spirit; The Yoga Institute; Gay, Lesbian and Transgender Society of Philadelphia; and the women's society in the greater Philadelphia, W.I.S.E. Recently, at the International New Age Trade Show in Denver, she was given a book signing and lectured on "Astrological Business Trends 2010 & Beyond".
Since 2000, she has taught at Montgomery Community College in Blue Bell, PA, Basic Astrology for Self Awareness. She is currently on hiatus to write and promote her book Stepping Beyond the Silence; an astrologer's determination to warn of September 11th.
